Course Scheduling & Setup

Coursedog is a one-stop workflow platform that allows you to create and edit courses, propose a new major or minor, add courses to the schedule for a specific term, analyze course demand, build the section(s) of a course, edit existing sections, event reservation and scheduling, and many other functions within events, scheduling, catalog and curriculum.

Coursedog's Academic Scheduling platform helps your institution create optimized schedules without spreadsheets or back and forth emails. Academic Scheduling helps you offer the right courses, seats, and sections; enforce scheduling policies at the department level; gather faculty preferences; eliminate scheduling conflicts; and automatically make the perfect room assignments.

Join us for informative and interactive training sessions as we begin implementing Coursedog live!

  • Submitting Last Date of Attendance (LDA)

The U.S. Department of Education requires () the Office of Financial Aid to determine if a student who receives financial aid and fails to earn a passing grade in a course has actually attended and/or completed the course, or if they withdrew from a course without providing the university official notification. In addition, for students who officially withdraw we are required to document that they also began attending the course(s) from which they withdrew in order to determine the type and amount of financial aid they may be eligible to retain. Since a student could be a financial aid applicant at any point during the academic year, we must collect this information for all students, so that financial aid eligibility can be accurately determined.

Click the link below for information about entering the Last Date of Attendance (LDA) through Eagle Online.

    Adding Documentation to Substitution Requests

The current substitution workflow process does not have a way to add documentation other than text added to the comment section on the substitution.  However, a system has now been put in place to allow advisors to scan and index documents to data imaging.  Department Chairs, Deans and General Education can now view this documentation when needed when reviewing substitution requests.  Below are instructions on uploading and viewing the documents.
