Scholarships
There are two main types of scholarships that you could receive. The major difference between the types of scholarships is the source of the scholarship money.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Scholarships
The first type are awarded by ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ (TTU) and are called institutional or university scholarships. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ scholarships include the following:
- Admissions Scholarships and Grants
- Departmental & Donor-Funded Scholarships
- Athletic Scholarships
- Honors Program Scholarships
- Music Performance Scholarships
- ROTC (Military Science) Scholarships

External Scholarships
The second type of scholarship that you could receive is called an outside scholarship or an external to ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ scholarship. These are any scholarships not awarded to you by the university. Examples include community scholarships such as those from your church, your high school or a Rotary club. These can also be scholarships or reimbursements from your parent's employer or from your service with .
